A small and friendly hotel. Fifteen minute walk to the centre of El Calafate, but that didn't matter as we were often picked up at the hotel e.g. Big Ice and Cerro Frias (zip line), other times we walked/ got a taxi, which was cheap. Breakfast was good, room was comfortable. Good value overall. Staff were really friendly and helpful and were patient with our poor Spanish.

The rooms were really clean and comfortable, and there were plenty of clean towels provided. The staff were super welcoming and friendly, and always happy to help with anything we needed. We loved the fact that they spoke the local language and we felt like we were experiencing the authentic culture. The breakfast was good, with a good selection of options to choose from.
That the hotel was a little bit further from the city center, which made getting around a bit more difficult. However, taxis were always available and the staff were more than happy to help us out with this.

During our romantic escape, my partner and I enjoyed the warm and comfortable rooms with modern amenities. the staff was also incredibly helpful and friendly, providing us with information on local attractions. the view of the lake and mountains from the dining room was breathtaking.
Although we were able to take cheap taxis to get around, it would have been nice to be a little closer to the restaurants and shops.
